Banana Bread (Best Ever)
Great Grandma Corrinne's best recipe - made with buttermilk! Extremely delicious!
Ingredients
  1. 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  2. 1 1/2 cup sugar
  3. 1 tsp. baking soda
  4. 1/2 tsp. salt
  5. 2 eggs
  6. 2 medium ripe bananas (1 cup)
  7. 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  8. 1/4 cup plus 1 Tbsp. of buttermilk (this is what makes the bread)
  9. 1 tsp. vanilla
  10. 1 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions
  1. In a large bowl, mix the eggs, bananas, oil, buttermilk and vanilla until real creamy.
  2. Add in the sugar and mix until totally dissolved.
  3. Stir in the flour, baking soda and salt.
  4. Fold in the chopped nuts.
  5. Pour into greased bread pans.
  6. Best when baked in small bread loaf pans (recipe fills four small or two medium pans).
  7. Bake at 325 degrees until a sharp knife inserted in the center of loaf comes out dry. About 35 minutes for the small pans.
