Lavash Lasagna

Replace the high carb noodles with Lavash bread and forget messing with boiling pasta. This is a delicious family favorite recipe, turned lower carb.

Sauce
- 1 pound Italian Sausage
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 Tablespoon parsley flakes
- 1 Tablespoon basil
- 1 ½ teaspoons salt
- 1 1-pound can (2 cups) tomatoes
- 2 6 oz. cans (1 1/3cups) tomato paste
Cheese
- 3 cups cream style cottage cheese
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- 2 Tablespoons parsley flakes
- 1 pound Mozzarella cheese, sliced
- 2 large sheets Joseph’s™ Lavash Bread

Instructions
- Brown sausage and add next 6 ingredients.
- Simmer uncovered until sauce is thick (45 minutes to 1 hour), stirring occasionally.
- Combine cottage cheese, with eggs, remaining seasonings and Parmesan cheese.
- Place one sheet of Lavash Bread in a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Spread half the cottage cheese mixture over it.
- Lay half the Mozzarella cheese over that.
- Spread half the meat sauce over that.
- Repeat Layer with remaining ingredients.
- Bake at 375° F for 30 minutes.
- Let stand 15 minutes then cut into 12 servings.
