Sweet & Sour Chicken

Carmen's Easy Sweet & Sour Chicken
Serves 8
Another family favorite! This is an easy way to make a savory sweet-sour chicken. Preparation is minimal but the options for serving are endless, whether you want wings, drummettes, or larger pieces served with sides for dinner.
Ingredients
  1. 1 cup soy sauce
  2. 1/3 cup white vinegar
  3. 1 cup sugar
  4. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  5. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  6. 28 chicken drummettes/wings or
  7. 12 legs or 8 thighs

Instructions
  1. Stir together all ingredients, except chicken, in a 9 x 13 baking pan.
  2. Add chicken, coating the chicken with the sauce.
  3. Bake at 350° for 2 hours, turning several times while baking, re-coating the chicken with the sauce.
  4. Drain before serving.
Notes
  1. Serve with favorite sauce or ranch dip
