Breadsticks, Easy Garlic Parmesan Butter

Easy Garlic Parmesan Butter Breadsticks

Who doesn't love a soft breadstick! This is an easy recipe to execute and produces 14-15 soft, flavorful breadsticks with some great seasoning!
Ingredients
  1. -- Breadsticks --
  2. 1 tablespoon yeast
  3. 1 1/2 cups very warm water (105 -115 degrees)
  4. 2 tablespoon sugar
  5. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  6. 3 1/4 cups flour
  7. 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  8. -- Garlic Parmesan Seasoning --
  9. 1/4 cup powdered Parmesan cheese
  10. 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  11. 1 teaspoon oregano
  12. 1 teaspoon basil
  13. 1 teaspoon marjoram
  14. 1 teaspoon parsley
  15. 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Melt butter in a saucepan and pour into a rimmed baking sheet.
  3. In the mixer, combine yeast, water & sugar. Set aside and let sit 5-10 minutes or until yeast is foamy and dissolved.
  4. Gradually add salt and flour to the yeast, mixing with your hook attachment until well combined. Knead dough a few times then divide dough into 15 balls.
  5. Roll dough into sticks and place on buttered baking sheet then roll in the butter.*
  6. Top with Garlic Parmesan Seasoning (Note that you will NOT use all of the seasoning).
  7. Let the breadsticks rise for 15-20 minutes.
  8. Bake for 15 -20 minutes or until golden.
Notes
  1. There will be remaining butter on the baking sheet after rolling breadsticks in butter.
